Property Taxes

Taxes Due:

Real Estate and Personal Property taxes are billed to the owner of record as of April 1st.

Tax payments are due October 1st and April 1st annually.

Payments:

Payments can be made in person, by phone, by dropping checks/cash in an enclosed envelope in the town office drop box slot located by the door or by mailing them to PO Box 386, Newcastle ME 04553.

We accept cash, check or debit/credit card.  We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express cards. There will be a 2.5% convenience fee added to the transaction for the use of a debit/credit card.
