Planning Board

The Planning Board is comprised of 5 volunteer residents who review new development or redevelopment projects in accordance with the Town's adopted Ordinances.

The Planning Board typically meets on the third Thursday of each month. Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Clayton V. Huntley Jr. Fire Station at 86 River Road, Newcastle. 

In addition to regular meetings, the Planning Board may also hold workshops, site walks and special meetings as needed. Workshops are usually held before or after regularly scheduled meetings and are listed on the meeting agendas. Agendas for site walks and special meetings are also posted here. All agendas and packet materials will be posted by 5:00pm on the Friday prior to the scheduled meeting.
