Road Work Coming Up

Our Public Works Department will be working on Academy Hill Road during the week of April 22-26. The work will be near Kavanagh Road. Please plan accordingly.
4/23/24 - Road work on Island Road will start today and is set to last until the end of the week. Crews will start reclaiming the road.
5/15/24 - River Rd is closed to thru traffic. Vehicles may get to the Fire Station and below (towards town) through the Lincoln Home end of River Rd. Those who are past the Fire Station need to enter River Rd from Snead Spur.
- There is ongoing roadwork being conducted downtown Newcastle impacted the north-bound Rt 1 off ramp, Academy Hill, Mills Rd, and Main St. The Town Office is currently open! Please plan for significant delays and avoid the are if possible.
