Vital Records
To obtain a certified copy of a vital record you must complete a Vital Records Request Form and bring your completed form, proper identification and, if needed, proof of lineage into the Town Office. We can also process orders through the mail, the procedure is the same as above. The Town's mailing address is PO Box 386, Newcastle, ME 04553.
The first certified copy is $15.00 and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record ordered at the same time. To purchase certified copies, We accept all forms of payment, however, there is a 2.5% convenience fee added to use a debit/credit card.
