Dear Community Members:
Many community members have already completed the Newcastle Broadband Committees survey.  However, many more responses are needed and requested.  If you have not yet completed the survey, would you please take a few minutes to complete it?
The Newcastle Broadband Committee is conducting the survey to collect information about the Town’s current internet status and future requirements for equitable broadband service. Your responses to this survey will aid the Committee in identifying  which areas of town do not have access to high speed internet and will help the Committee determine the affordability of making high speed internet available to those residents.  The survey responses may also support the Committee’s anticipated application for grant funds to help build the infrastructure necessary to allow all Newcastle residents access to affordable high speed internet.  Community input is critical to a successful grant application.
The survey is online at:  http://bit.ly/HighSpeed-Newcastle or you may find it by scanning this ORC:

If you have questions about the survey, wants to help the Newcastle Broadband Committee, or want to participate in the Committee’s Zoom meetings at 3:00 on the second and fourth Mondays of each month, please contact Newcastle Broadband Committee Chair, David Levesque, at 207-563-7416 or [email protected].

In addition to posting this on the Town’s website, would you also send it out to those on the Town’s email distribution list?

Thank you for your help.
